As climate change and sustainability become increasingly important concerns, electric vehicles (EVs) have emerged as a solution to reduce carbon emissions and reliance on fossil fuels. By becoming involved in this sector, professionals can play a major role in shaping the future of transportation, making it cleaner and more efficient. Working on EVs entails participation across various disciplines, including engineering, research and development, manufacturing, marketing, and policy-making.
EV-El wants to help minimise the environmental and climate impact of transport and thereby contribute to the achievement of the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
To provide charging for electric vehicles with the least possible impact on the environment where electric vehicle users need it. Making it transparent and easy for users to charge and understand the cost of electricity consumption.
To have the smallest possible CO2 footprint, the most transparency on price and to move the consumption of electric car users from no charging, which pollutes more, to lightning charging with electricity with 2-leaf labeling and with the largest possible share of renewable energy.
EVs are gaining popularity not only for their environmental benefits but also for the high sustainability and quality they offer.

EV-EL ApS was founded in the summer of 2021 as a privately owned independent Danish company operating a charging operator business. Behind the company is the founder Thomas Boesen, who has previously co-founded several companies within medicinal chemistry and biotech.
Thomas is currently COO of SynAct Pharma, a publicly listed biotech company with compounds in clinical development.
At the start of EV-EL, he has brought his two nieces, two nephews, daughter and son into the ownership circle – all teenagers or pre-teens at the start of the company. They help formulate the company’s goals and strategy.
